Wonju Suspension Bridge & Hwadam Botanic Garden/OOZOO Illumination Garden 1 Day Tour

I was the only participant on the Sogeum Suspension Bridge tour in Wonju. Instead of canceling the tour, like another tour operator did to me for a different trip, Ktourstory honored the reservation and sent tour guide, Jones, to take me in a comfortable, air-conditioned car two hours to Wonju. Jones was friendly, customer-focused, and made sure I had an enjoyable day at the suspension bridge, the market, and the Chungju Light World. So, 5 stars to Jones! Our first stop was the suspension bridge, which is a pretty new attraction. They are still doing construction work, from what I could see. After climbing some stairs for about 15 minutes and getting my heart pumping, we arrived at the bridge. It was pretty busy for a Thursday afternoon, so I imagine the weekends are even more crowded. There are trails to do more hiking, but we just crossed the bridge, admired the view, and took some photos before leaving. There also was rail biking available, which looked like fun. Our second stop was at a market where we shopped a little and stopped for lunch. Our last stop was Chungju Light World. This is a great place for families and couples, if you enjoy light displays. I give 4 stars to this tour. Overall, I enjoyed it. I probably could have passed on the market portion since I’ve already been to other similar markets in Seoul. I would have preferred to try the rail bike or something in its place.
