If you enjoy traditional Korean stories, you will love this performance. The music, the costumes, the set....everything was beautiful. Keep in mind that this is not a completely traditional performance. This is a music and dance performance with modern music/dance influences. Please give this performance a try! I watched a performance of Chunhyang in this same theater about 3 years ago and was eager to see another. They did not disappoint!

A fantastic experience! Honestly, I was open-mouthed for a good portion of it; delighted by the dazzling colour, sound, and a showcase of the best of Korean traditions. I’d see it again in a heartbeat. The story is easy to follow, the performers are incredibly talented and the use of stage is inspiring. Thank you Trazy for this wonderful experience.

Overview
Have a look at the life of Jang Nok-su, the "femme fatale" of the 15th century Korea.
Jang Nok-su was a beautiful and ambitious woman who was born as a servant but later became a royal consort of Yeonsangun, the 10th king of the Joseon Dynasty (1392~1910). During the performance, you will get to see the exquisite and elegant performances and imagine how Jang Nok-su captured the heart of Yeonsangun. Come and watch the traditional performances of kisaeng (entertainers of government offices or court), ordinary people and royal entertainers.
