Overall, it was a good experience given the price. We first went to the tomb in Gongju. It was quiet and not crowded, which was quite nice. There is a museum to visit with replicas of the tombs. We cannot actually visit inside the real tombs as they are closed to visitors so you can only see the mounds outside. It was nice to just walk around the quiet area and see the beautiful trees/nature.
After that, we visited the pond. However, since it is fall, all the flowers were gone, the water looked muddy and the scene looked a little depressing. It would have definitely looked so much more beautiful in the spring or summer. Nevertheless, it was nice to walk around since it wasnt very crowded!
The boat ride was calming and just a breath of fresh air away from the busy city. We were given some time to explore the area before returning to the bus, which was quite nice. There were some nice historical spots there.
The areas that we visited were not crowded, which for me was the good point! Everything went smoothly and i had a good time.
