One of the 3 main markets during the Joseon dynasty (1392-1897), it is the where the past & present coexist. You’ll be able to find and buy almost everything here.

[Kim Gwangseok-gil street]
Kim Gwangseok, is one of the most famous Korean folk song singer-songwriters and this street is an array of murals depicting his life and music. It’s also known for the best photo spots.

[Daegu Yangnyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine] - Foot Bath
Yangneyongsi is a local market dedicated to oriental medicine that started from the Joseon dynasty (1392-1897) and Daegu Yangnyeongsi is the most famous of all. You’ll be able to learn & experience the history and culture at this museum.

[Dongseongro Street]
It’s the main downtown street of Daegu. You’ll find all kinds of fashion stores, restaurants and cafes.

[Donghwasa Temple]
Located on the Palgongsan mountain, Donghwasa Temple was built during the Silla kingdom (57 BC – AD 935). The temple owns the world’s biggest stone Buddha, which is 33m tall.
