Museum 1 honors the 40-year film career of the late actor Ahn Sung-Ki through works by around ten leading Korean artists. Often called "the nation's actor" of Korea, Ahn Sung-Ki began acting as a child and appeared in more than one hundred films over six decades. He is remembered for classics such as Mandala, Chilsu and Mansu, Two Cops, and Radio Star, and for winning many of Korea's top acting awards. Paintings, installations, and media art sit alongside rare archival materials, offering a fresh, immersive look at Korean cinema. Real award trophies, costumes, and movie props also invite visitors to discover how Korean cinema has evolved over the decades.
