This extended class offers a deeper experience with the gayageum while adding a memorable cultural element. Learn essential playing techniques and perform a simple song with confidence. Experience the unique moment of playing the gayageum while wearing a traditional hanbok. After the lesson, enjoy a fun and visually rich hanbok photo session. A great choice for those seeking both music and a classic Korean cultural experience.



▲ 80-minute Daegeum Class with Hanbok & Optional Sogeum
Discover the unique sound of the daegeum, a traditional Korean bamboo flute known for its deep and expressive tone. Practice breathing, embouchure, and finger techniques, then play a simple melody. Enjoy the special experience of playing the daegeum while dressed in a traditional hanbok. The experience concludes with a hanbok photo session, creating a lasting memory. An optional sogeum is available, allowing continued practice beyond the class.

Discover the powerful rhythm of the janggu, Korea's traditional hourglass-shaped drum known for its dynamic push-and-pull sound. Learn proper posture, stick technique, and the basics of Korean rhythm, then try Hwimori, a fast and exciting traditional beat. Use what you've learned to create your own short Janggu piece. The experience concludes with a hanbok stage performance, where you play your piece and take home a recorded memory of your Korean music moment.
