This was such a great trip. I’m so glad I booked the tour. I learned so much about the Korean War and the formation of the DMZ. On the morning of the tour, it started snowing in Seoul. Our tour guide, Bori, considered this would make it difficult to view North Korea through the telescope. She changed the itinerary slightly so we could make the most of every location we visited. Our first stop was Imjingak Dogkae Bridge, Bunker, and Gondola. The gondola was an amazing experience, and definitely my favorite part of the entire tour. Our next stop was the Heyri Art Village Modern Art Museum which had displays of everyday life in Korea within the last century. The museum was like walking through a time machine, the displays were so detailed and realistic. We went to the Odusan Observatory once the weather had cleared up. It was powerful to be able to see North Korean villages through a telescope. The difference between North and South Korea is astonishing. From the observatory, one side shows beautiful high skylines and the other was a simple one to two-story-high structures. Overall, a wonderful experience. A big thank you to Trazy and Bori for making it a well-coordinated tour.

It was a lovely trip. Met some great people. The museum at Henri Art Village was good fun - a step back in time.

This was a really great tour. It was amazing being able to see North Korea and look at the houses and structures. It was moving seeing the history of the Korean war and the lives it had effected. The museum at Hyeri Art Village was also really amazing. The way they had recreated the daily life in the mini diaramas was fascinating.

I've been to DMZ/JSA before, but this experience is still different and new to me. Here are some of the new sites / experiences I had from this 2022 DMZ Tour with Trazy: ♡ Statue of Peace (which I first encountered through a tear-jerker episode from Kdrama 𝘛𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸)⁣ ♡ DMZ Gondola Ride ⁣⁣ ♡ Digital Telescope for a glimpse of North Korea⁣⁣ ♡ Beat 131 Bunker ♡ My Hometown Exhibit Instead of just the DMZ stop, our group went on a 2D1N tour with Trazy. Even with just the DMZ, I already saw a lot and even learned more about this side of Korea's history. Our tour guide Dony was also very informative and helpful throughout our trip. He said that this itinerary isn't the typical "Ppali! Ppali!" (faster!) tours, but one where you can relax and fully absorb each stop. Highly recommended!

We did the 2DN1 Tour and it was really fun ! The tour guide Dony did an amazing job, he was so careful and teach us about Korean history and even added some sense of humor ! We first went to the Odusan Observatory where we had the view directly on North Korea’s land. That was super impressive and I even saw few North Korean farmers. We then went to the DMZ in Imjingak and walked through the freedom bridge. Don’t worry it wasn’t dangerous at all as it is made for tourists and there is also a cable car that took us up there to the Demilitarized zone. We went apple picking and ate a very delicious apple pie. It was always in a nice atmosphere with the whole group. The first day wasn’t over yet as we went to the Pocheon Art Valley to enjoy the fall foliage. The timing was perfect as it was the peak of it. We finally went to the hotel which was unexpectedly reallly nice ! Who would thought to find such a confortable hotel in the middle of the countryside of Pocheon. Too bad I didn’t get the lake side view but it was still enjoyable. The next day we went to the Herb Island which was very colorful at this moment of the year. Then we went to Nami Island which was so crowded. Everyone went there to look at the fall foliage. We went the there on weekdays so I can not imagine how crowded it would be on weekends. I already came few times in Nami Island but never during autumn, and it was so beautiful. It was probably my highlight of the trip ! At the end we went to Petite France and Little Italy. To be honest it was the part I like the less of the trip. Maybe because I’m French ? :p And after that, we went back to Seoul and arrive around 8pm. I really recommend this tour for anyone ! It’s really confortable to just follow the plans, and enjoy everything and it will cost you less than doing the whole thing by yourself for sure ! The guide was really cool and didn’t rush us during the visits. The time management was really well done.

We did the 2DN1 Tour and it was really fun ! The tour guide Dony did an amazing job, he was so careful and teach us about Korean history and even added some sense of humor ! We then went to the DMZ in Imjingak and walked through the freedom bridge.

WOW! So powerful to see North Korea with your very own eyes... I highly recommend this tour because it can be difficult to get to these locations by public transportation. If you go with Trazy, they'll pick you up and take you everywhere with ease AND a lovely tour guide (thank you Dony~) I took another trip with Trazy where we went to Nami Island and I HIGHLY encourage you to take that trip as well!

I did the 2DN1 Tour and can absolutely recommend it! The tour was so well organized, informative and fun. Although I have been living in Korea for a year, I have not been to the DMZ yet. So it was more than time that I booked a tour! And I am very glad that I chose this K-Story tour. As always, our tour guide was well prepared, funny and had lots of information at his fingertips. During the drive from Seoul to Odusan Observatory, Dony explained to us the history of divided Korea. His explanation was short but full of the most important facts so that everyone could roughly understand how it came to be and how significant it is to this day. From the Odusan Observatory, we could look at North Korea through normal or highly modern digital binoculars. Dony even showed us some North Korean field workers and explained that we were only about a kilometer away from a North Korean village. Inside the observatory is a gallery of drawings and texts from affected families, all about the desire for reunification. The second stop was the actual DMZ in Imjingak. We walked to the Freedom Bridge, saw a small bunker, and took a cable car into the middle of the Demilitarized Zone. Since it does not have the highest security level there, we hardly saw any soldiers, so even though the Korean division is a very serious and sad topic, there was no dull or tense mood. After a short lunch we went with our small private van to an apple farm and picked apples ourselves, took a small ride with a cart and ate warm apple pie and drank fresh apple juice. Due to a small change of plans, we went to Pocheon Art Valley next, which was a really good twist. That way we could go up the mountain with the monorail without a hurry and enjoy a little walk and coffee with a wonderful view. Just in time for sunset we walked down the small hill again and saw the sun disappear behind the Fall Foliage covered mountains. The hotel was well equipped and perfectly fine. Since there is a Noraebang (karaoke room) in the basement of the hotel and our room was right above it, it was quite loud until about 10 pm, but that was not a big problem for us and for a small city like Pocheon, the hotel was great. In the morning of the second day we went directly to Herb Island, which is basically a small theme park without an obvious theme. :D From a herbal museum, dinos, fairy tales, runningman, squid game, tanks, Halloween to couple photo spots and other attractions, I guess there is something for everyone. On weekends and with more visitors I imagine it to be quite funny because then the small booths will be open everywhere. Since we were there on weekdays, some booths were closed, but so we could at least make the best photos without waiting. Our most important stop of the second day was Nami Island. And what can I say: I heard a lot about Nami Island in advance, but it exceeded my expectations by far. I really just imagine the island to be so beautiful in any season and could have spent the whole day there. Although we came on weekdays, there were an incredible amount of people, but because of our top tour guide, everything went very smoothly and we didn't have to wait long or get stressed. We had enough time to walk around the island, have something to eat, take endless photos and admire the beautiful autumn colors. It was magical! Last stop before we went back to Seoul was Petite France and an Italian Village near Nami Island. It wasn't really authentic there, but had a very unique charm because of the beautiful view. Again, I can imagine that it's a little more fun on the weekends than on weekdays. All in all, the tour was just awesome and incredibly fun. My two highlights were the view to North Korea and Nami Island!

Before coming on this tour, I was under the preconception that the DMZ was a dangerous location that very few people visited. However, this couldn’t have been further from the truth. Starting from the observatory, I was able to see North Korea with my own eyes for the first time. It was such a surreal experience; I was surprised by how much we could see without actually entering North Korea (people working in the fields, houses/buildings, flags, etc.). The art gallery here was also very touching (the separation of family was a big theme). Then, we went to the actual DMZ via the gondola. It is actually a really beautiful, yet sad, location. Dony did an amazing job telling us about the history of the Korean War, the possibilities for reunification, and the significance of the various places we visited (the ribbons on the fence, the destroyed bridge, etc.). The location was full of tourists, and there was even an amusement park across the street (in otherwards, you don’t feel in danger at all). If I were to give any criticisms, I would say that the food options here weren’t anything special and the bunker wasn’t as exciting as I thought it would be. The Art Village was a relaxing break, and we enjoyed exploring the museum and nearby cafes. We bought some local snacks there that we really enjoyed. I didn’t expect to enjoy the Paju Outlets, but it was actually quite fun! There were many good deals (albeit nothing was cheap). On the bus ride home, Dony even put on the BTS Busan concert on the TV, which was really thoughtful of him. You could tell they really put a lot of thought into the tour and cared about our experience. Thank you again Dony for the amazing day!

Yhe tour guide was great. Very entertaining and informative. I liked the early morning as it helped us avoid the crowds. I was not a fan of the mall, but that was just me. I was able to rest on the bus, which was really nice.

The DMZ was one of the places I anticipated visiting the most when I came to Korea. Going on this tour made it so easy! Dony our tour guide was as friendly as always and so informative. He explained how the DMZ came to be step by step so even someone who knows nothing about Korean history would be able to understand. I left the tour knowing so much more about Korean history than a book or website could ever tell me. Although we were visiting a serious place Dony kept the tour light so we could learn and also have a good time seeing everything. We started the tour by going to Odusan Observatory. Here we were able to see wonderful views of both South and North Korea. Dony even told us we might be able to see North Koreans at work through the binoculars. We were very lucky and were able to see them farming and see the North Korean flag waving as well. We were given the perfect amount of time to check everything there out! Next we travelled to Imjingak here we went on the cable car, saw the bunker and saw Freedom Bridge. we were given free time to have lunch. Dony showed us where we could get some lunch and told us when to meet back for our next adventure. We then made our way to Hyeri Art Village. The village was so interesting with a museum that could really show you a glimpse into what life was like as a Korean from the 1950’s onward. The village also had many interesting cafes, view points and activities that could be done. The people in the village were so welcoming and told us where we should go to get great snacks. The last destination on this tour was the Paju Premium Outlets which were a great opportunity to buy premium items at a discount rate! We didn’t have too long at the outlets (which was definitely good for my wallet) but we had enough time to explore, grab a drink or snack and make some purchases. Overall I would say this tour is definitely worth it if you want to learn all about the DMZ potentially see some North Koreans and experience Korean history from the 1950’s until now!

DMZ is one of my top priority place to visit in Korea and finally I got it because of KSTORYTOUR. Many thanks to the organizers and especially Dony, tour guide. The tour was really nice and adventurous. The best part was seeing historic torn bridge and modern museum. I am really delighted by the Korean history and surprised by the things that Korean preserve it very carefully even after the 70 years of Korean War. Thank you KSTORYTOUR.

At first, I was hesitant to avail the tour since it is quite cheap with 70% discount, but fortunately I did it! and it is indeed a must activity to avail when visiting south korea. Had Dony as our guide, he was amazing and very informative. It was a great day and it is so nice to be able to see glimpse of North Korea, and to get to know about the history of South Korea and North Korea. After DMZ, the visit to Museum of Modern History of Korea in Hyeri, Paju, was also very interesting. We got to know the past Korea and the development clearly :)

I absolutely loved this tour and certainly loved our guide! Dony is a professional, passionate and funny guide who loves sharing about his culture. This tour surely helps you understand the history of Korea and the reasons behind their current mentality. It is far more than just a border / frontier of two unique countries tour. I highly recommend it.

A very memorable day. Everything was very well organized and the balance and time for each activity was great. We came as a family and we learned a lot during this tour about the DMZ and what it means for Koreans today. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and eager to share with us his knowledge and perspective. The art village museum and the outlet shopping at the end were good additions.

The tour was amazing and showed a lot of Korea's history and culture both past and present. You really get a feel for how huge of an impact the Korean War had on both the North and South, and you can feel the legacy of the war today still. Dony was a great tour guide - very friendly, knowledgeable, and charismatic - and gave us a lot of important information to help us understand and appreciate the gravity of the places we visited. He also worked hard to make sure that we all enjoyed ourselves and kept comfortably to the schedule, but did allow a huge amount of free time too. I did this tour at the discounted price, but I would still recommend it even at the original full price, it's totally worthwhile and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
