I had fun attending the one hour Kimchi making at the Seoul Kimchi Academy. It was a well guided step- by-step making of the cabbage kimchi, around 800 grams, and it was neatly vaccum packed for us to take home. Korean tea and Kimchi pancakes were served after the session. It was truly a memorable Kimchi- making experience !

Eveything was explained very well.
We first got served a delicious traditional korean iced tea.
The cabbage was already prepared the day before. We mixed the ingredients for the seasoning ourselves and dressed the cabbage. Got to take home the kimchi. Afterwards we got to enjoy some hot tea and kimchi pancake.

We had so much fun doing this experience. The teacher was an expert kimchi maker and shared her joy of the art of kimchi making. We were so glad we took this class. Appetizers, kimchi lesson and making, then kimchi pancake tasting! Would recommend to anyone going to Seoul.

I highly recommend! The workshop was super fun and the whole atmosphere was just really relaxed. The lady teaching was very good in English. She was very kind and sweet and gave clear instructions for us to follow. She also told us little interesting facts about the Hanok we were in, the neighbourhood, kimchi and about herself. Omija, the first tea we were offered, was very tasty and the kimchi pancake we got to eat afterwards was even more delicious. We got quite a lot of kimchi to take home with us and the lady even packaged it up well, so we are able to take it on the plane with us. She also send the recipe by mail. Can't wait to enjoy and share my selfmade kimchi with my family!

One of the best activities we did in Seoul! Not only did we make kimchi and rice cakes, but we learned about the history and stories behind this important cultural food. Our instructor was simply amazing. If you are visiting Seoul, invest in this experience!!!
