This was a really fun and unique activity to do in Korea and if you have never seen the sunrise for the new year I think this is a great thing to do once. Personally, I would recommend watching from the beach instead of from the temple as it looked a lot less crowded-the temple lookout point was crammed. If you change your mind the locations are right next to each other so it's not a problem. Our guide Charlie was really kind and knowledgeable on the area which made for a great atmosphere too :)
