Informative tour especially for those who would visit Seoul someday. This recommended itinerary is very good in showcasing traditional Korean culture like antique arts, traditional teahouses, traditional Korean houses and crafts shops. It is discovering Seoul's past and present in Jongro. Glad to encountered Korean traditional mask. Those stone stamps are very ideal for gifts. Tasting fresh green tea in Jidaebang cafe would for sure be a wonderful experience. Buckon Hanok Village shouldn't be missed when in Seoul. It was nice from this tour to recommend a lot of tips where to have the best appearance in those traditional Korean houses. The tour gave learning and hands on work shop too to appreciate more Korean cultures like the Haneul Mulbit Natural Dyeing and Donglim Maedeup Workshop. I believed this experiences would be loved by the visitors. Seoul Museum of Craft Arts holds and exhibits works showcasing Korean arts works to the visitors and to the world and the Korean Folk Museum gives glimpses to visitors of the life and culture of early days of Seoul. Mr. Dony clearly stated those recommended experiences on this tour mentioning price as well which I believed is helpful too. He also answers questions very well. I am thankful to be part of this tour and have the privileged to know Seoul cultures more. More power and continue promoting this wonderful tour.

Having your travel in a virtual setting is another kind of experience. Though you are not present in the actual place, you can still have a glance of the scenic places that you want to visit. On November 6, 2021, the (OraeGage) Seoul Virtual Tour- Step into the Bukchon Hanok Doors Live Commentary was broadcasted in the YouTube channel of Trazy website from 11:00 a.m- 12:00 p.m KST. Before I give my honest review, let me have first a short definition of "OraeGage" and why the virtual tour was entitled like that. OraeGage is a newly coined term by citizens of Seoul and the Seoul Metropolitan Government. It means an "old store" and "a store that will last long". In a simple term, the tour features the "old stores" as well as places in Seoul that caters the traditional and historic vibes of culture in Korea. During the tour, here are the 6 "OraeGage" that I chose and what I like about it. 1. Seoul Museum of Korean Folk Music- You can dive into the Korean Folk music if you want a comfort of your soul. The rhythm of music is such a therapy and healing to everyone who want to listen and explore the wide area of music in Korea. 2. Bukchon Hanok Village- It is one of the best attractions in Seoul. I like the structure of traditional Korean house and I admire how Koreans preserve it throughout times. I would probably try the hanbok shot within this village. 3. Jidaebang ( Traditional Tea Cafe) - If ever I will have an opportunity to visit this cafe someday, the first thing that I will try is their patbingsu. The ambiance of the cafe is good and relaxing as well. 4. Insadong Street- Taking a walk along this street will surely make you forget your stress and worries in life for a while. The place gives a refreshing touch and there are so many Korean foods to choose from their stores. And I love to try delicious K-foods. 5. Haneul Mulbit Natural Dyeing- I love the natural dyeing procedure of Koreans. It looks so colorful and attractive. 6. Talbang- I love to try and experience wearing a traditional Korean mask and would probably witness in person how it is made. The tour host is warm and friendly. I like how Mr. Donny delivered important facts with regards to OraeGage and its significance to Korean culture. Every part of the tour is exciting and awesome if you love to travel in traditional places or sites. This virtual tour is highly recommended for everyone who want to experience the traditional culture of Korea in a modern way and setting. It surely makes a perfect combination. Bonus thing: I love the transportation system in South Korea. It is fast, modern and tourist friendly like what I saw in the tour on how Seoul Station works and function. Would love to experience riding a train there someday. Overall, the tour was perfect and beyond measure. Looking forward for more tours in the future!!!

If you love about Korean traditional cultures, this is a good tour for you! The tour was informative. Mr. Dony, our guide even taught us how to take a subway train in Korea to visit Jongno district. I like how shops in Insadong use Korean alphabets as their shops' names. He introduced us some hidden gem places (OraeGage) that tourists might not know before. Even I have visited Korea many times, after watching this tour, there are many places and workshops that I want to visit. And it's great that Mr.Dony gave us a Google Map link which I can use it later when I visit Korea.

What an amazing tour! We first wandered through Insadong street which features a lot of Korean shops and cultural crafts. Dony, our awesome tour guide, also showed us some hidden alley ways through Insadong. We also viewed Myungsindang for unique name stamp making. It was fascinating to watch. You can get your very own stamp made! We also viewed traditional tea cafes and the beautiful Bukchon Hanok Village where you can view unique Korean architecture. Next we were off to Haeul Mulbit Natural Dyeing where you can view indigo blue natural dyeing in action. More traditional Korean crafts awaited us at the Donglim Maedeup Workshop where you can view Korean traditional knots being made. Absolutely beautiful! We continued on to some museums featuring Korean craft art and Korean folk music. This tour was full of craft, culture, beauty and more! I want to visit all of these places and make all of these crafts!

The concept of a virtual tour in itself was very nice. The google street view of different places was a nice touch. Makes it easier to picture the layout of the streets for future reference. Tour guide is very easygoing, shares a lot of detailed information and tries really hard to engage the home audience.

(OraeGage) Seoul Virtual Tour--Step into the Bukchon Hanok Doors starts in Jong-No, continues to Insadong, and introduces special places such as the Seoul Woori Sound Museum. The tour provides useful information in and around Seoul's Bukchon Hanok Village. The only issue with this tour is that a separate link had to be emailed to participants during the middle of the tour (after the first link stopped working).
