Haneulmulbit (Institute of traditional natural dyeing) is a private institute of traditional natural dyeing founded by Jo Suhyeon, an expert in traditional Korean knotting and dyeing.
Visitors can appreciate a wide collection of finely dyed beautiful fabrics, threads and embroidered artworks. The institute also runs various subject related classes and open workshops for the public, in order to promote understanding of the significance of traditional Korean natural dyeing, including knotting and embroidery, which has impacted on every aspect of Korean art and culture.
The institute is also close to Bukchon Hanok Village, which is a living example of traditional Korean culture, comprising over 900 traditional Korean houses and still reflecting the Korean lifestyle.

Extreme Bad Feeling to Haneulmulbit (Institute of Traditional Natural Dyeing)
I am a visitor from Hong Kong, today I have a extremely bad experience to the Haneulmulbit (Institute of Traditional Natural Dyeing), which I have make a book to the place for doing dye, but when I arrive there, pressing the bell, there was no one answering! I have then waited for 30 minutes, finally a man drive his blue car arrive and said today was not open and ask me to go, booking was cancelled!
The time was 3pm, from the web site, the opeing hour is from 9am to 6pm. I am very disappointed of the place and I will NOT come again any more!
I come here to enjoy my holiday but having the experience like that, is very disappointing! and I MUST tell everyone who love dye about my feeling today! and tell them NOT to come!
If the place is not suppose to open, you must not tell people to book and come.
