Make your own Korean food and become a chef in Seoul

Located in Jongno-gu, the Food&Culture Korea Center provides a Korean culinary culture experience. You can cook a Korean dish among a varied list of dishes such as Tteokbokki (떡볶이), Kimchi (김치), Haemul Pajeon (해물파전), Bulgogi (불고기), Bibimpap (비빔밥), Mandu (만두) etc. The cooking classes are conducted in English and Japanese and are taught by experienced teachers.

O'ngo Food Communications 온고푸드

Located in Jongno-gu, Ongo Food provides a bridge linking Korean culture to the world through food. There are three levels and you can cook Haemul Pajeon (해물파전), Bulgogi (불고기), Soft tofu stew (순두부) etc. Vegan/Vegetarian and dietary restrictions are considered.

Chongga Kimchi World 종가집 김치월드

Located in Insa-dong, in Jongno-gu, the Chongga Kimchi World provides to international visitors a chance to feel the spirit of Korean culture through making Kimchi (김치), tasting Makgeolli (막걸리) and other Korean dishes such as Tteokbokki (떡볶이). After making your kimchi, you can take it home with you. In English and in Japanese.

Located in Hanok Bukchon Village, in Jongno-gu, it provides you a traditional culture experience by making Kimchi (김치) and Tteokbokki (떡볶이). You also can learn about the traditional ceremony tea and wear Hanbok, the traditional Korean dress. In English and in Japanese.

Tteok Museum 떡박물관

Located in Jongno-gu, the Tteok Museum offers you three hands-on experience programs: Rice cake making, Kimchi making and Traditional Korean dish making (Haemul Pajeon 해물파전, Bulgogi 불고기, Bibimpap 비빔밥, Mandu 만두, Naengmyeon 냉면 etc). In English, Chinese and Japanese.

Institute of Korean Royal Cuisine 궁중음식연구원

The Korean Royal Cuisine, designated as an Intangible Cultural Asset by the government, is located in Jongno-gu. The cooking lessons provided keep the same methods of cooking as they were during the Chosun Dynasty. There are two sessions: from April to June and from September to November. You can learn how to make Bulgogi 불고기, Bibimpap 비빔밥, Mandu 만두, Naengmyeon 냉면, Japche 잡채).
