Honestly this trip had so much potential. If not for a few factors it would have definitely earned a five-star review. The first issue I had was that we went to the lavender farm after visiting Sokcho, which didn’t make sense to me. The lavender farm is further north of Sokcho and was supposed to be the main component of the tour, so it would have made more sense to visit the farm first so we could spend the most time there and then stop by Sokcho on the way back. The lavender was in full bloom and the lavender ice cream was great, but by the time we got there it was very cloudy and around 5pm it started to rain. The second issue was a group of girls on the tour who were obnoxiously loud. On the way back from the lavender farm she and her friends spoke loud enough that I couldn’t drown them out with my headphones. It made me really uncomfortable and made me wish we could arrive in Seoul more quickly. One of them argued with the tour guide about how we should have saved more time at the lavender farm. While I agreed, I didn’t think it was necessary to have that conversation with others around. Having said that, the flowers and lavender at the farm were great! Despite the cloudy weather there were a few pockets of sunshine that allowed me to get some great pictures. The lavender ice cream was amazing! It had hints of vanilla to tone the flavor down a bit-I swear I could’ve eaten five of them. The marketplace and ferry ride were also lots of fun, and I enjoyed being able to explore on my own after having been shown around a little bit. I got a lot of good pictures and it was fun experiencing the local market atmosphere.

Our guide Harry was very attentive throughout the whole trip. We were very satisfied with the itinerary. The lavender farm was especially what I liked the most. The smell and the scenery were breathtaking. We couldn't resist but take photos. Seorak mountain was also a great destination. We were able to see the lush green landscape. This is why I love Trazy. I feel that they really care about the customers and try to offer something different and yet of quality.
