[About Uljin Snow Crab Festival]
Snow crab or locally called “dae gae”, literally meaning “large crab”, is a bright red crab caught deep in the cold waters of the East Sea. The crabs are available all year round, but early March is the peak season when the crabs are the heaviest and boast the best flavor. Considered a delicacy, you can enjoy the snow crab at a more affordable price during the Uljin Snow Crab Festival.
