Route 1. Seoraksan Mountain & Sokcho Beach
▲ Seoraksan Mountain
Seoraksan Mountain was named Seorak (‘Seol’ meaning ‘snow’ and ‘Ak’ meaning ‘big mountain’) because the snow would not melt for a long time, keeping the rocks in a permanent state of white. This UNESCO-designated biosphere reserve has many unique rock formations and waterfalls as well as numerous hiking trails.

A tranquil beach located naerby Seoraksan Mountain, Sokcho Beach stretches over 1.8 kilometers and features fine golden sand and pristine blue waters, making it an ideal spot for unwinding after your hike.
Route 2. Naejangsan Mountain & Jeonju Hanok Village

Naejangsan Mountain in Jeongeup is another mountain famous for its gorgeous scenery and is often dubbed the best mountain to view the autumn crimson leaves. The park is 76,032 sq. km. in size and was designated a National Park on November 17, 1971.
▲ Jeonju Hanok Village
Jeonju Hanok Village is the biggest hanok village in Korea with over 800 traditional hanok houses. The village is especially beautiful for its unique roof edges which are slightly raised to the sky. Jeonju is also famous for its incredible cuisine, so don't forget to try some of the traditional food such as bibimbap, dduck galbi, and noodles as well as various delicious snacks such as Choco Pie.
