[Incheon]
Follow along as Andreas takes you through the sights of Incheon. Located west of the capital Seoul, Incheon has always held a very important role as a port and gateway. The history of this city runs deep, and as a result the cultures and architecture reflect the interaction locals had with the rest of the world.

What is unique about Incheon is its intention to preserve the past, painful as it may be. There still exist many buildings that were erected from the Japanese colonial period, juxtaposed to Chinese style architecture that provided markets for trade between Korea and China. Incheon is home to Korea’s largest Chinatown, and a mecca for Jjajangmyeon (a Korean Chinese dish dear to almost everyone).

The tour of Incheon will see how the city has reinvented itself by walking through newly renovated and reconceptualized buildings. Abandoned factories converted into culture halls, tax collection buildings converted to museums, and bombarded mountains converted into recreational parks. Come along and be inspired by the history, culture and design of this city.

[Jeonju]
Also discover the coolest part of Jeonju with Andreas. While walking around, he will explain what is hidden within the walls, the things only natives know. The cultural fabric of Korea is changing and Jeonju is situated at the crossroads of that transition.

Being a foreigner himself, Andreas can provide some unique insights about the curiosities most tourists typically have. Ask away! While walking along you will see delicious foods and traditional architecture.

The tour of Jeonju will follow typical courses most Koreans take, and along the way Andreas will explain the traditions and the habits of past and present Jeonju. Come along and bring any question you might have about Korea, K-pop, or anything K related with you.
