Would you like to immerse yourself in traditional Korean culture through a unique hands-on experience? Join this fun self-guided tour of Gyeongbokgung Palace that includes a hanbok rental and a game of Spot the Difference. Your mission will guide you through the different parts of the palace and provide information about the palace’s unique architectural aspects as you search for differences between the pictures on the guide map and the actual buildings of Gyeongbokgung Palace. At the end of the mission, you will have gained a deeper understanding of the Gyeongbokgung palace and Korean history!

*Entrance into Gyeongbokgung Palace is free of charge for foreigners wearing hanbok.
*As Gyeongbokgung Palace is closed every Tuesday, this activity is unavailable on Tuesdays.

[About Spot the Difference Mission]
At the hanbok rental shop, where you will change into a set of hanbok of your choice, you will be given a mission instruction sheet that includes a guide map and a set of pictures of the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Your mission will be to identify the differences between the Gyeongbokgung Palace seen in the pictures and in real life as you walk around the palace following the guide map. If you need help, there will be a QR code on the instruction sheet. Just scan the QR code with your QR code scanner app, and there will be hints provided to you. When you are done with the mission, return your hanbok to the rental shop and receive a completion certificate as well as a picture of yourself in hanbok!

[Rental Rules]
*Please submit a valid photo ID upon rental, which will be given back upon return of your rental items.
*All rental items must be returned at the end of the mission. You will be charged additional fees for any late returns. The additional fees for late returns must be paid directly to the rental shop.
*Any damage and/or loss of rental items are subject to additional charges.
