Traditional Korean Hanbok Experience at Goguan Studio

Totally recommend! I took my parents to have a family photoshoot and they absolutely loved it. The pictures came out amazingly and the scenarios they have to take pictures by yourself are really good too.

Wonderful experience! Place was easy to find with the given instructions. I upgraded 5000KRW per pax to the palace dresses. I didnt know what to expect but the staff were very professional and patient. Make up and dressing up was fast and nicely done up. Lockers provided. I reached about 30mins earlier and they attended to us immediately. Clear explanations given on the upgrades available, choice of hair styles and dresses. After the professional studio pictures taken by the camera man, We were allowed to take our own photos with our cameras. Selfie sticks and tripods provided. Staff even explained to us on how to use the tripod. They have 2 levels of different scenes and props provided. No time limit. We were having fun taking our own poses and scenes for about 1hr. Sample photos were at every scene, teaching you the recommended pose. Really a great experience, i had a very fun time, feel like a star taking photos. Photos and cd were nicely packaged into a clear bag with the studio’s name card and brochure. Highly recommended! Two thumbs up!

Oh my God these people are so amazing and fabulous! The make up artist maybe look glamorous and the Photoshop lady made me look 50 pounds lighter, so that’s probably in my head… I’m a little heavy and they worked with my weight and still manage to make me look amazing! They were super sweet and very helpful. I’ve been able to go upstairs all the different galleries and take your own selfie’s to help extend your money was really really good. I also was very grateful I was not outside in the summer sun, because it was really warm and we were in air-conditioning. The photographer and the editor both have amazing eyes for detail. Everyone was helpful and really nice.

I was really impressed with how they managed to make my hair look traditional even with the back only being an inch long! They’re very good! We enjoyed plenty of time to take photos in the sets by ourselves too which was fun.

The staff here are nice and they are approachable. The place was good and clean. And you can use different stuff for your selfie for free..

It is small and compact place for 2 hours of fun. Big enough selection of hanbok for us to choose as well as settings for selfies. There are selfie sticks and tripods for customers to use at no extra charge. Some of the settings also has sample photos so for those with less imagination (like me) it was easy to get “pro” looking photos too. They were also very fair when it came to charges. We got the make and hair do package but one of us had short hair & couldn’t do the hair, they waived the extra fees required the palace hanbok for one. Which I felt was a really nice gesture as they didn’t need to do that at all. For the portraits, we also got 4 pieces of smaller prints for free. The photographer was also very good at directing us on wat to do to get good images. The ladies helping with make up, hair and dressing up were efficient and although it is not the best make up (fake eyelash was coming off a little at one end), for the price, I think it was a really good deal & since we are not taking close up, it was fine..
