Ganghwa Island, the fifth largest island in Korea, is about an hour west of Seoul and lies beside Incheon. It is famous for many ancient artifacts, and was an important frontier to defend the capital city from the invasion of foreign powers from 1232 to 1679. With this trip, you will find out how the glorious history and culture of Korea have been developed from prehistoric times to the modern era. You will also visit enchanting Jeondeungsa or Bomunsa Temple, and experience relaxing and tranquil ambiance.
