2D1N Ski/Snowboard Tour: Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort - Nearby Pension

Meeting point was very easy to find and convenient location. Our Guide, Park is a very nice young man who took good care of us and coordinated our journey very well. The ski clothing rentals are taken from outside the resort, which was quite a simple process of changing at the shop. Skis and poles were taken at the Resort. Park taught the kids some basic ski techniques. Thereafter we head up the slope using the ski lifts by ourselves. This tour is good for beginners and intermediate skiers. After returning the clothings in the evening , we were taken by another driver to the Pension. Initially I was rather apprehensive that I did not know where we were staying. It turned out to be a really lovely accommodation, looks like a summer villa by the lake. Although it’s a bit pricey, the BBQ dinner was satisfying and the couple managing the kitchen was really accommodating. For those who did not want to order the BBQ, it’s possible to make simple meals or cup noodles at the rooms. The room is equipped with kitchenette and utensils. Breakfast came with the room. There is a minimart just opposite the ski clothing rental shop for those who needs to buy some food. The next morning, the driver took us back to meet with the tour group and we rejoined the next day bus group at around 10am. We opted to sled for the rest of the day and returned to Seoul after 4 pm. We just returned from our 2D1N Ski/Snowboard Tour: Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort - Nearby Pension. The trip was fabulous!!!. Thanks to the tour guide. Since I am beginner for the SKI, however the training given by our tour guide help me a lot. Finally, I played well after some practice. The owner of the Pension can communicate in English and he is co-operative. Second day Nami Island trip was disturbed due to bad weather (light rainfall ). Even-though, I love the scenery view around there. I saw several spot which was seen before via Korean drama. Overall, the trip was superb. My sincere thanks to TRAZY for making this a trip to remember. Hope to join with TRAZY for another wonderful trip in near future..........

He only spoke to Chinese tourists and when we asked for our lifts he didn’t get them to us not had any idea it was option. I tried to ask for lifts but he told us it will take long time so we spent whole days using moving walk. And the guide didn’t tell us to put on the clothes at the rental shop so the bus driver yelled at me for taking my bag and not wearing the ski clothes. The resort owner was amazing he even helped us order food. Second day was with another guide, Zoey, she was very good, contacted us the night before, prepared our ski passes and clothes rentals even before we arrived so when we came she had it all ready. We told us where to meet her after and was waiting for us before we came back for the day. 5 starts for her

Awesome trip to Elysian ski resorts, great tour guide, zoey, good ski lesson... Great time at strawberry farm Good accommodation All seven of us enjoy the trip.... Will come back again..,

My husband and I chose the 2D1N Elysian ski tour and had a lot of fun. We were picked up in Myeongdong and traveled to Gangchon with 2 multilingual tour guides and a bus full of other travelers in Korea. Everything went smoothly and after picking up our ski clothing, we headed to the Elysian where we got our skis and ski passes for the day. I also liked that we were provided with a 10% discount coupon for the restaurants at the Elysian. The accommodation provided was also very nice and the BBQ dinner was very good. The next day, the pension owner drove us back to the Elysian where we met with a tour guide who gave us our ski passes. We had so much fun skiing for 2 full days. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to go on a great skiing trip in Korea.

Had a great time!!! Service was excellent. Catered to us and our luggages. The bbq was great and well worth it. Accommodation was pleasant and the family so inviting. Didn’t have any problem with language as English was good enough. Ms Kim our guide was such a delight to be with. She prepared everything for us and settled all our needs 3 steps ahead. My wife and me were traveling in a group but it felt like it was a private tour and well worth it. Thank you for the memories Ms Kim and Trazy.

We had a great time. It was very friendly for beginners and we were able to book a last-minute ski lesson with them. Our kids got along well with their staff and they helped to accomodate us with all of the small missing details.

It was a great trip and our Chinese guide, 小高, was excellent. He was very helpful and accommodating. He really took care of us and emphasized safety.. which Ian so important. I would recommend him and Trazy for this tour.
