Our Tour Guide was great. He spoke english and chinese well. He shared great stories and even sang for us but also let us sleep, hahaha! I was a solo traveler. When we got to Andong our guide paired everyone into groups so we could share andong jjimdak together. The jjimdak Was delicious, and I’m very glad to have shared a meal with the people I was placed in a group with. The Bridge was indeed busy and you don’t spend much time there, you do have to buy your food from one of the convenience stores across the bridge but that was fine with me. I would suggest getting your food first then taking your time walking back, or pack a lunch, something that can last awhile in your bag. When we got to the village, the sun was setting and the weather was nice, we got to explore bit before making our way down to the firework area, it was packed full of people on tours and locals as well, finding a spot was easy enough though. There were live performances as well as food and souvenir Vendors. The traditional fireworks were mesmerizing, our group didn’t stick around for the finale which were more modern day fireworks but we saw them on the way back to the tour bus. *Lots of walking, uphill, down hill, different terrain, wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Maybe bring a blanket or something to sit on for when it’s time to watch the fireworks. * keep in mind the schedule is strict, not much time to wander. that was fine with me and my group we got back before the subway closed

Overall a nice experience but it's sad we couldn't be at the village for long since we arrived when the sun was going down. The food market was nice, the bridge was so crowded that it wasn't that great. The firework was a very unique experience and it was very nice to see. If you intend on going next year be aware that you will walk quite a lot and at a fast pace. The staff were nice but they weren't speaking english much which was a little disappointing.
