[Gangneung Danoje Festival]
Celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month on the lunar calendar, Danoje Festival had been one of the biggest folk festivals in Korea. Gangneung is one of the few cities that continues to hold this festival up until now and it is listed as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. During this one-month festival, many events are held to welcome the gods and goddesses such as Ganno Mask Dance (non-verbal mask dance), ssireum (Korean wrestling), traditional swing riding, and street parades. Visitors can see the traditional rituals and try various activities at the festival.
[Gangneung Jungang Market]
Located in the center of Gangneung City, Gangneung Jungang Market is a traditional market that sells fresh seafood and delicious market foods such as sweet & sour fried chicken and mozzarella pancakes.
[Sodol Adeulbawi Park]
Sodol Adeulbawi Park is an oceanside park where oddly shaped rocks are lined up along the shore. "Adeulbawi" translates to "son rock" and there is a myth that an old couple with no children had a son after praying on the rocks for 100 days.

5. Pregnant women and those who have any pre-existing heart/back problems are not allowed to join.
6. Ziplining is not recommended to those who have fear of heights or speed.
