Who can join this tour?
Anyone aged 8 years or older can participate. The same price applies for adults and children.
What type of accommodation is provided?
Accommodation is at a UNESCO World Heritage temple in ondol-style rooms (heated Korean floor) without beds. Rooms are based on two people per room, and due to temple policy, participants of the same gender will share rooms—even couples.
Is this a religious program?
No, this templestay is primarily a cultural experience. While some activities, such as temple prayers and meditation, involve religious practices, participants of all beliefs are welcome.
Can the schedule change?
Yes. The program may be adjusted according to temple circumstances or the monks' schedule. The itinerary is designed to be relaxed and unhurried, allowing free time for reflection and rest.
What should I bring?
All participants must bring their passport (original or a copy). Comfortable clothing for walking and modest attire for temple visits are recommended.
Are meals included?
Yes. A traditional vegetarian temple dinner and breakfast are provided, along with lunch at a local restaurant on Day 1.
Do I need to prepare anything special for the templestay?
No prior experience is needed. Activities such as meditation, tea ceremony, and temple walking are guided, and the program is suitable for first-time participants.
