Daedunsan Mountain: Beautiful mountain landscapes from high up. 6 minute included cable car ride saved hours of hiking. Walking to bridge then stairs was mostly uphill, not as far as I was concerned about, not too crowded, and partway was a place you could rest and buy a drink. They also had restaurants at base of mountain.
Wanju Festival: worth going and had a lot happening; numerous activities for kids, several stages of performances, lots of food stalls, and there appeared to be a hike or run race earlier in the day and from what I could see, looked like a beautiful course. I especially liked the Zumba and Mangyeonggang River exhibit building showcasing many of the insects and fish in the area. It was also neat to see people catching fish then grilling after.
Travel: Bus was comfortable. Stopped once for bathroom and snacks on the way there and once on way back. Like that there is a dedicated bus lane that bypassed traffic.
