We booked this tour after another provider cancelled at short notice.This was the only platform we could find that offered a tour for two people, and our guide/driver, Kimsoo, was excellent. We were picked up from our hotel at 7:00, and we recommend the early option as you miss the worst of the traffic leaving Seoul. The journey took about two and a half hours, and we stopped at services on the way for coffee. We chose to visit the Buyeo National Museum first as it was raining. We are fans of history, and Kimsoo was very knowledgable. The incense burner was a highlight of the museum. We visited Gungnamji Pond next, which is where 'Mr Queen' was filmed, if you are a K-drama fan. It was very serene with a few waterlillies out, although too early for lotus flowers. Next we hiked up to Nakhwaam where the court ladies fell to their deaths. The view of the river was beautiful. We then took a return boat trip for 11000 Won, on the Baekma River to Goransa Temple which was 2000 Won to enter. Finally, we visited Baekje Cultural Land, which is a modern reconstruction, but spectacular. The pagoda temple is stunning. We then visited Baekje Historical Museum, finishing up with a trip to the well-stocked gift shop. There is also a small cafe there, but as we were about to leave we grabbed some drinks and snacks from the GS25 by the car park. Be aware that this is self-service, but very easy to use even if you don't speak Korean. A full day at nearly 12 hours by the time we were dropped back at our hotel. An interesting and comfortable journey thanks to Kimsoo. Do yourself a favour and visit Buyeo, where few tourists venture, you won't regret it!
