Led by local specialists who have years of experience in the Korean alcohol industry, this class will take you through the fundamentals of brewing makgeolli with engaging, hands-on instruction. You will first be guided through the different kinds of sool and fermentation techniques that make Korean alcohol truly special. You’ll then have the opportunity to sample some of The Sool Company's delicious, home-brewed makgeolli before you move on to the practical part and make your own! You will learn from the very beginning stages of washing rice to the final filtering process, and will be equipped with all the knowledge you need to continue brewing makgeolli long after you leave.
