Water Sports at Hado Beach, Jeju Island - Kayaking/ Snorkeling/ SUP/ Speedboat Ride

What an experience. The guys here are so friendly and helpful. Such good teachers and helped us so much with the activity. They were flexible with time and gave us chance to find our bearings. Will happily go here again.

The snorkeling area wasn’t too big but I did see some fish and even a jellyfish. There’s a shower/changing room. A big basket is provided for you to hold your stuff while you snorkel. There’s basic liquid soap to rinse off your hair and body. The shop owner was so nice. We were the last group of the day to go snorkeling and he asked us how we were going back home. When we couldn’t get a taxi so he asked another worker that was going home in the same direction to drop us off closer for us to take a bus. They also have a cute pup there!

Incredibly fun! I was the only one who was doing paddleboarding at that time slot so the instructor let me paddle for over an hour and a half while he taught the rest kayaking and got them on the speedboat. After that, he even offered to teach me snorkelling for free when I said I was going for a swim. The waters were calm but not the clearest, a wonderful first experience nevertheless.

He gave us extra time to get used to the kayak. We came in and he told us we could have stayed longer if we wanted to but everyone was ready for paddle boarding. It was 3 of their first time so he showed everyone how to get on and paddle. We spent a good hour and 10 minutes on the water. After wards, he said we could shower and wash up. We walked down to the beach, swam for a little bit then walked back and asked if we could shower again. He said yes! He was so nice! We loved it. It was absolutely beautiful and such a great workout! Thank you so much!!

Very beautiful place, the staff was really nice and getting along in english was okay :) the kayaking was a cool experience and we stayed at Hado Beach after that a little while. I think we wouldn’t have found this beautiful beach if it wasn’t for the kayaking! One of my favorite beaches there as it also wasn’t very crowded. The water was very clear ^^

Very beautiful place, the staff was really nice and getting along in english was okay :) the kayaking was a cool experience and we stayed at Hado Beach after that a little while. So much fun and the workers were so nice! They offered to take pictures of me and were very knowledgeable. Teaches everyone how to be safe and very enthusiastic. 11/10 highly recommend, there are many kayaking spots but the staff is what makes them so great :) Not going to upload a lot of photos because they mostly have me in it

It was my first time snorkeling and even though the communication was rough, I understood how to do it. I didn’t expect the beach to be so shallow though, you could literally just stand everywhere you snorkel. Not a lot of interesting nor pretty fishes /things to see, but then I was mostly struggling and having fun with my friends. I got cut a little on my thumb because I swam too close to a rock which was literally 3 inches away from water surface (hella shallow, i mean it), so be careful out there. Don’t mindlessly swim like I did.

friendly and helpful staff that tried hard to speak english. you’re allowed to kayak only within the bay since it can be pretty windy. beautiful views of Udo and clear turquoise waters. i took public transport but most people would probably want to make sure they had a car since it’s pretty far from the main highway. the “showers” are nice to rinse the salt off and they have phone chargers.

Unfortunately there were strong winds when we went so we couldn’t go the transparent kayak we booked. They gave us the other Norma kayak which was slightly more expensive for the same price so we we’re happy. They provide life jackets and it was our first time so the instructor spoke good English to explain and teach us the rules. They were showers after which we appreciated and while kayaking our bags were kept safe for us. If you’re using a bus you’ll have to walk a bit to the destination but it wasn’t as bad. I would definitely book this activity again . And there are nice cafés around the area.

It was tiring but fun, they were very patient explaining the instructions. It was a great experience. Totally recommended.
