[How to download/activate eSIM]
  1. You will receive an eSIM QR code via email upon ordering. Scan and download the eSIM to your phone.
  2. After installing the plan on your phone, the SIM card will be activated automatically and start to work.
    *In case you install the eSIM plan outside Korea, the SIM card will be activated automatically when you arrive in Korea and your phone is connected to the local SKT network.
    *Once the eSIM is activated, please do NOT delete it under any circumstances. If you experience any issues, please contact the SK Roaming Center for assistance. Deleted eSIMS cannot be reactivated and are non-refundable.

[How to activate eSIM on iPhone]
  1. On your phone, go to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM
  2. Open your camera and scan the eSIM QR code.
  3. Setup complete. The eSIM is now active on your phone.
*In case you install the eSIM plan outside Korea, the SIM card will be activated automatically when you arrive in Korea and your phone is connected to the local network.



[How to activate eSIM on Android]
  1. On your phone, go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager
  2. Tap Add mobile plan
  3. Tap Add using QR code
  4. Setup complete. The eSIM is now active on your phone.
*In case you install the eSIM plan outside Korea, the SIM card will be activated automatically when you arrive in Korea and your phone is connected to the local network.

*Be sure to check if your phone supports eSIM before your purchase.   2. Enter your rental contract number and rental mobile phone number.
    *You can check the contract you received when purchasing the product and the text message you received after starting your phone.
  3. Enter your full name, passport number, date of birth, and nationality.
*Passport verification is only available between 8:00am and 10:00pm.

[How to charge voice/text credits]
  1. Visit the credit charging website: www.skroaming.com/reservation/charging
  2. Enter your rental contract number and rental mobile phone number.
    *You can check the contract you received when purchasing the product and the text message you received after starting your phone.
  3. Select the amount you wish to top up.

Please keep in mind
  1. Passport verification is only available between 8:00am and 10:00pm, and is not available at other times.
  2. If you wish to verify your passport outside of the available hours, you can proceed with the verification process at the airport roaming center.
  3. All incoming/outgoing calls and text messages are unavailable until your passport has been verified. (Data services are available regardless of passport verification.)
  4. Passports issued in the Republic of Korea cannot be used for passport verification.
  5. Once the eSIM is activated, please do not delete it if any issue occurs. In such cases, contact the SK Roaming Center for support. Deleted eSIMs cannot be reactivated and are non-refundable.

No, this eSIM cannot be extended. It will be automatically terminated after the expiry date. If you need an extension, please make a new purchase.
Please check with your phone carrier to make sure your phone is eSIM compatible. Also make sure your smartphone is unlocked through your carrier, especially if you are from the United States, Canada, or Japan.

No, ARC connection and identity verification services are not available when using this eSIM. (Any services that require personal authentication are not supported.)
