The experience was really a great experience. The instructor was knowledgeable and had all the materials for us to make our bean paste and red bean paste. And now I feel comfortable making these products from the raw ingredients that were provided to us. The only suggestion would be a recipe sheet, one could just take photos for the ingredients. The instructor showed us a yard full of fermenting beans in stoneware pots—some one and three years old. One pot was of 10 year old soy sauce which looked like molasses in color and consistency. This was a rich and one of a kind authentic food experience. We even got to take home the pastes we made and we are grateful to the instructor for her time and expertise. I recommend this experience to anyone who like Korean flavors.
