Experience making real soju the traditional way!

Manho Gotaek is a named traditional Korean house (hanok) located in the famous Yangdong Village of Gyeongju. At Manho Gotaek you can experience making authentic soju by distilling rice wine using traditional methods. The distillery master, who was born and raised in the village, will teach you how to make the special soju!

[About the soju making experience]

Orientation about traditional Korean alcohol (10 mins)
Make the flour dough used for sealing and set up the distillery pots (20 mins)
Distill the rice wine (30 mins)
Taste the soju along with the provided foods (30 mins)

*You will be making soju using homemade rice wine and not making the actual rice wine.
*You must be over 19 years old (over the Korean legal drinking age) to participate.
