Overview

Seoraksan National Park, Nami Island, Naksansa Temple, Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm and Sokcho Tourist & Fishery Market are among the top destinations not to miss in Gangwon Province, the beautiful nature-rich Eastern region of Korea surrounded by high mountains. If you are a nature lover, do not miss out on this 1 day private tour to Seoraksan National Park and its neighboring destinations in Gangwon Province during your visit to Korea.

You can visit up to 2 destinations from below in 1 day.

[Seoraksan National Park]
Seoraksan National Park, the most popular national park in Korea, offers marvelous nature scenery all year round. You can enjoy beautiful flowers blooming in spring, cool streams running through green valleys in summer, mind-blowing autumn foliage colors in fall and white snowy hills in winter.

[Nami Island]
Nami Island is a half-moon shaped island in the middle of upper Han river. The island is well known for its beautiful scenic paths that have been shooting location for several Korean dramas including ‘Winter Sonata’. Take a walk on the redwood-lined path and enjoy the peaceful view of the riverside.

[Naksansa Temple]
Naksansa Temple is a very old Buddhist temple located on top of a cliff by the sea with a 1,300 year history, boasting a magnificent view over the East Sea. Along with its unparalleled sceneries, Haesugwaneumsang (one of the largest stone statues of Buddha) and Uisangdae (a pavilion on the cliff) make this temple a must-visit site in Gangwon Province.

[Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm]
Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm boasts a spectacular and picturesque natural scenery on a hill with a 1.2km long walkway around the sheep grazing field. You can take a walk around the peaceful sheep farm, feed the sheep and take beautiful pictures.

[Sokcho Tourist & Fishery Market]
Sokcho Tourist & Fishery Market (former name: Sokcho Jungang Market) is the iconic market opened in 1982. It is home to Sokcho’s local seafood, crops, and general goods as well. The market is especially famous for Sokcho's local snack, dak-gangjeong (sweet & sour chicken).
