I really enjoyed the tour to the Plum Blossum festival. The blossums were just passed 100%, but it was still quite spectacular. The festival itself had ended the day before, so the crowds were a lot less, which meant it was more peaceful. Jeonju Hanok Village was quite nice, but all of the museums were closed as it was Monday. The guide, Roy, was really friendly, and pointed out the best places for food, shopping etc.

It's really a good trip with Trazy. We are very happy to enjoy the famous Plum blossom spot in South Korea. This is the first time to visit the biggest festival flower in early March and to see jeonju hanok village too. If you are going to Korea in early March, you must join to Gwangyang Maehwa Festival with Trazy. I hope next trip can join with another trip. Thank you

Overview

Welcome the start of the warm spring season with a visit to Jeonju Hanok Village & stunning spring festivals!

Take a break from the ordinary this spring with a one day tour that combines the cultural charm of Jeonju Hanok Village with the beauty of Korea's vibrant spring festivals. Choose from three different spring destinations: Maehwa Plum Blossom Festival, Donghaksa Temple Cherry Blossom Festival, or Maisan Mountain Cherry Blossom Festival. Each tour concludes with a visit to Jeonju Hanok Village, where you will be amazed by the traditional Hanok house architecture as well as delicious foods.

Why this tour?
▷ 1 day tour to the most beautiful spring destinations in the southwest province of South Korea
Jeonju Hanok Village: take a stroll through old streets with beautiful traditional houses
▷ Gwangyang Maehwa Village: one of the most colorful spring destinations that more than a million people visit every year
▷ Donghaksa Temple: a serene Buddhist temple known for its tranquil pathway lined with cherry blossoms
▷ Maisan Mountain: famous for its striking twin peaks and landscapes that come alive with wildflowers in the spring

▲ Spring in Jeonju Hanok Village
Jeonju Hanok Village is lined with over 800 traditional Korean hanok houses. Along with the traditional houses, you can also enjoy Korean traditional foods such as bibimbap and Jeonju Choco Pie. You can also borrow and wear Hanbok and walk around the beautiful alleys.

▲ Gwangyang Maehwa Village
Following the Seomjingang River flowing down the outskirts of Jirisan Mountain is a village filled with plum trees. Instead of crops and grains, plum trees are cultivated on farmlands, boasting white snow-like blossoms in March. The annual Plum Blossom Festival takes place in the village every March when the plum blossoms are in full bloom.

▲ Donghaksa Temple Cherry Blossom
The Donghaksa Cherry Blossom Path stretches for about 4.5 kilometers from the intersection to the entrace of Donghaksa Temple, with over a thousand cherry trees lining both sides. During spring, the path creates a breathtaking scene as the petals gently fall in the wind.

▲ Maisan Mountain Cherry Blossom
Owing to its location in the highland area, Maisan Mountain boasts a later and longer cherry blossom season, so worry not if you've missed the peak bloom season. The reflection of Maisan on the Tapgyeongjae Resrvoir and the remarkable stone pagodas of Tapsa Temple offer a truly rewarding travel experience.
