These caves were formed by lava flowing down from the eruption of Hallasan Volcano. Despite being a lava cave, it features stalactites and stalagmites, which are typically found only in limestone caves. Due to their significant scientific value, the caves are protected as natural monuments.

▲ Jaeam Folk Village
Jaeam Folk Village located within the park preserves and showcases the traditional thatched houses of Jeju, which are gradually disappearing with modern developments. The village also exhibits traditional household items used by the people of old Jeju, offering visitors a glimpse into the island's past.
