I had Tina and it was such an easy and enjoyable experience. It was like Tina could read my mind. She also gives an amazing head massage lol. Cannot recommend enough!

This was our first time for hair in south Korea. Our experience at Hair & Joy with both of their stylists was beyond our expectations! They were both so patient, social, and really listened to our needs. We were so unexpectedly surprised! The only negative I could say is the girl who washed my hair, well kinda rushed? I’ve read about getting head massages are part of the hair dressing experience but I didn’t get any of it. But overall the place was easy to find, nice neighborhood with great cafes. Most of all, stylists were amazing.

They are professional and the hairdresser was nice. (I only refreshed my hair ends, but I will definitly come back again)

Usually it's very hard to find a hairdresser that knows how to deal with curly hair, but you can go to Hair and Joy with eyes closed !! They were very considerate towards my curly hair for the cut, they knew perfectly how to cut it and how to style it ! I recommend a 100% ☺️

Johnny is the stylist who does the digital perm for me. He speaks English so it is definitely a plus point for foreigners. Trimming cost 40k won and perming cost 120k won. As my hair is very straight, he recommended small curls instead of big curls for more lasting results. He also teaches me how to blow dry and maintains the curl. See picture below for the end result

I am a former pageant queen in the United States and have always gone to hairdressers that are well known for working on hair for Miss USA / Miss Universe (aka very particular about my hairdresser). I was inspired to find a salon in Seoul when my mom also wanted to get her hair done, and come upon Hair and Joy. After reading the incredible reviews about it, I was convinced to make an appointment for full head highlights. Not only is the price incredible, the work done was also top tier. My stylist Johnny wanted to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted and asked so many questions to get it absolutely right -- and in the end, I was so so happy with the end result. It is exactly the color I wanted (super subtle brown highlights with a pop of brightness for face framing)...not to mention, my hair felt super soft and healthy afterwards. I will definitely be coming back to Hair and Joy when in Korea and recommending this salon and Johnny to family / friends! Thank you Johnny!

I've been to Hair & Joy quite a number of times and they're extremely professional. They speak English and go into detail about how they will execute your choices. Overall, for foreigners, Hair & Joy is definitely a place I'd recommend. Thanks again for the great hair colour and cut.

This was a wonderful experience I'm so happy with how my hair turned out. I got half my hair dyed purple. As I have dark hair I needed two bleaches and the colour. Between each, my hair was washed and treated, so at the end of the process it was still soft and felt healthy. The staff were very attentive and we could communicate well.

Big thanks to Tina and her assistant, they were professional, attentive and kind. Tina listened to what i wanted and i couldnt be happier with the result. I paid for extra since i had to bleach and do more coloring but it was worth it. I'll surely come back next time i come to Korea ^^

Staff were super nice and gave great service! They speak amazing English so there was no problem communicating what we wanted. Was really happy with the quality of hair dying. The only thing I would warn people about is that bleaching costs extra depending on your hair. So bring extra cash

I asked for a digital perm, but after assessing my hair, my hairstylist Jake advised a mixed perm to get the look I want. It turned out good! Jake's English is understandable and he is friendly.
