Join a guided tour of the MMCA led by a local guide with a major in art history.

This tour will guide you through the art world with the curation of a local tour guide who majored in Art History and Theory at Hongik University, well known for its prestigious art college. Modern and contemporary art may seem puzzling at first. In this tour, you will go through the modern and contemporary art world and its logic, and the paths of how we got here today. See 2 to 3 exhibitions held at the MMCA. Afterward, explore the Bukchon/Anguk area, full of authentic Korean restaurants and enjoy delicacies such as bossam, jokbal, K-BBQ, or bibimbap.

Built around the traditional concept of a madang courtyard, the museum blends history, architecture, and creative spaces while engaging closely with the public.
