Imjingak Park is a symbolic site built to provide console those displaced by the Korean War. Checklist for booking
  1. All the participants must type in their passport information (full name on the passport) on the booking page. This is to make a list of visitors and submit it to the authorized DMZ office before visiting (mandatory).
  2. Please write the name and address of your hotel on the booking page. The exact pick-up location near your accommodation will be informed a few days before departure via email.
  3. Children under 2 years old are free of charge. Please bring the child's ID to verify the age.

Precautions
You must carry your PASSPORT (or ARC) on the day of the tour.
  • Every visitor will be asked to show his/her passport before entering DMZ.
  • You may not participate this tour without your passport. The Korean army will check your ID and if you do not have your ID, you may be prohibited to enter DMZ. In this case, no refund will be issued.

How is DMZ different from JSA?

DMZ is a piece of land across the Korean Peninsula between South and North Korea. JSA is the only area in DMZ where South and North Korea forces stand face-to-face. Unlike JSA, DMZ is the territory of South Korea. You can join DMZ tour every day except for Mondays and public holidays.

Can children join this tour?

Yes, they can join the tour. Child fees apply for children under 11 years old. Children under 2 years old are free of charge.

Is the DMZ private tour available during political or safety issues?

Yes, the tour operates under all circumstances. If the DMZ area is partially or fully closed due to political or safety concerns, an alternative route will be provided. Please note that refunds will not be issued in such cases.

Is there an English-speaking guide?

What is the maximum number of people for the DMZ private tour?

The van accommodates up to 7 people.

Is lunch included in the tour?

No, lunch is not included. You may bring your own or purchase on-site.

Is hotel pickup and drop-off included?

Yes, hotel pickup and drop-off are included. Once you provide your hotel address upon booking, the exact pickup time will be informed via the confirmation email.

Do I need to bring my passport for the DMZ tour? What if I forget it?

Yes, you must bring a valid passport on the day of the tour to enter the DMZ. Without it, entry is not allowed, and refunds will not be issued for missed entry due to missing ID.

What happen if I exceed the default tour hours?

An additional fee of 20,000 won per hour will be charged directly to the guide on the day of the tour.
