Sweet fish return to the rivers from the sea around July and August to breed. During this time they are most fat in meat and delicious in taste.

What if it rains on the day of the tour?
The festival runs rain or shine, and so does the tour. However, if the weather conditions are severe, the activity may be postponed or canceled. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

Are meals included?
No, meals are not included but if you catch sweetfish, you can have it grilled on-site for an additional fee. There are also various food stalls and vendors where you can purchase snacks and local specialties.

No swimming skills are required. Most activities take place in shallow, supervised river areas.
