Quick and convenient to redeem, the staff is nice and helps setting up the card. The counter is easy to find, there's a CU behind so the transportation card can be immediately charged.

The pick up was quick and easy, kiosk is right after luggage pick up. The clerk inserted the sim card for me and did all the set up, I had a functioning phone in less then 15 minutes. Highly recommend for first time travelers as this also comes with a T-Money card, where you can load the funds and take the airport bus or train to your location!

Good sim card. They installed for me at the airport, but I found out at the desk that only Samsung and Iphones can make calls and receive texts, so keep that on mind.

About T-money Transportation Card
- The card where the SIM card is attached to is used as the T-money transportation card.
- There is no credit topped up when you first receive the card. You must top up the transportation card at a convenience store before you use it.
- You can still use the T-money transportation card even after your SIM card expires.

- Make sure to book with the exact full name on your passport.
- Please make sure to unlock your smartphone through your cellphone carrier before coming to Korea, especially if you are from the United States, Canada or Japan. If your smartphone is locked, you CANNOT use this SIM card.
Precautions
- The SIM card will be activated upon pick up at the airport (Incheon/Gimpo/Gimhae). However, if you wish to activate it later, please inform the staff.
- SIM card use is calculated on an hourly basis from the moment of activation.

Yes, a Korean phone number starting with 010 will be issued for all SIM card options.
*Some mobile devices may not be compatible with phone numbers starting with 010. In this case, a number starting with 012 may be issued instead.
*Phone numbers that start with 012 are able to receive incoming calls/texts. However, they may not be valid for receiving messages from restaurant waiting systems or website verification.
*Voice credits can be topped up only if your device is compatible with a 010 number.
*Device compatibility can only be confirmed at the time of pickup.

What if the SIM doesn't work on my phone?
The universal type SIM card is compatible with phones using standard, micro, and nano SIM cards. Check with your phone carrier to make sure the SIM card is compatible with your device.

Would this SIM stop working if I depart Korea?
No, this SIM card will not be terminated even if you travel outside of Korea. As long as you return to Korea before the eSIM expires, your service will continue uninterrupted.
Can I extend the SIM card for a long period?
Yes, SIM card extensions are available online via the LG U+ website, within 3 days of expiration. There is no limit to the number of extensions, but each extension can be for a maximum of 60 days.
