▲ Gyeongbokgung Palace
Gyeongbokgung Palace is a palace built by King Taejo, the founder of the last kingdom of Korea, the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). The original building was destroyed by the Japanese during the war in 1592 being reconstructed in 1868. Gwanghwamun is the Southern main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace’s 4 gates.

▲ Changdeokgung Palace
Changdeokgung Palace is known as the best-preserved palace of the Joseon Dynasty’s five palaces. It has been nominated as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Originally an auxiliary palace, it eventually became the main palace as the king’s residential compound during the Songjong (1470-1494) period.

▲ National Folk Museum
The National Folk Museum is located on the grounds of Gyeongbokgung Palace, demonstrating a retrospective of the traditional Korean lifestyle. It exhibits the lives of both ordinary people and aristocrats in different parts of Korea throughout history, including traditional agricultural methods, hunting, weaving, cooking, and other housekeeping chores.

▲ Namdaemun Market
Namdaemun Market is the largest street market in Seoul. Especially popular for shoppers looking for bargains, this historical marketplace is well-reputed for its cheap price and wide variety of products. As it is located conveniently in the heart of Seoul, shoppers can enjoy easy access to different tourist spots and transportation.
