Used the KTX to and from Busan.
Really easy in use.
Just show your paper, get a departure time and sit at designated area.
Just follow english on the signs.
They check if the seatings are filled correctly regularly.
There is a water available to buy.
(I only noticed on my way back.)
Also in Busan and Seoul they clean the trains, it will arrive early, just check if the cleaners are gone.

Seat reservations for trains during the peak travel period (October 2~12) will be available starting from 3:00pm on September 18, when the remaining seats are released.
The Korail Pass is available for foreign travelers only. Korean nationals and foreign residents with a Korean PR passport are not eligible. A valid passport is required for ID verification. If there is a Korean national in your group, you cannot purchase this pass.
Can I use someone else's Korail Pass or transfer it to another person?
No, the Korail Pass is non-transferable and must be used by the person whose name is on the ticket. The name must match the name on your passport. Reselling or lending the pass to a third party is prohibited.
Are there any blackout dates for the Korail Pass?
Seats may be unavailable during major Korean holidays such as Seollal (Lunar New Year), Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), and year-end/New Year holidays. Standing tickets may still be available.
Can children use the Korail Pass?
Children under 6 years old can travel for free but must share a seat with their parent or guardian. Age is calculated based on the date of travel.
How do I present my Korail Pass and reserve seats?
You can show your Korail Pass voucher as a printout or on your mobile device. However, seat reservations must be printed from the official Korail website. Each traveler must carry their own ticket.
