Tour itinerary was actually a good one. However, we arrived late due to heavy traffic and have had to skip lunch… did a hurried visit of the village but not the market. Unfortunately, guide was not always “with us” to explain more of the history, culture. It was often a simple introduction and we were left to venture on our own. Thankfully, at the village, we were accompanied by tourism studies students on an attachment to our group - they offered insightful explanations to the area and the history and culture. Guide was a little distant from us - we didn’t even know his name except from his name in KakaoTalk. He also tended to just provide a few sentences of introduction. I’m sure that there was so much more to learn and know in the places we visited, especially the academy and even the cafe in which we stopped by before dinner. Thankfully, I met a Dosent at the academy who voluntarily shared so much of the place, its name, history, etc. with my friend and me. Despite limited Korean on my part and English on her part, I learnt and discovered a lot more. It’s a pity that our guide hadn’t been the one to share with us… we were just left to wander around on our own and take photos… I shared with fellow members in the group thereafter… and I noted that the guide then made an effort to explain more when we were in the museum… As for the cafe, I read on the website myself… I wished we had more time to really enjoy the place and learn more about them… and a guide who could explain more to us too (including the history of Jjimdak). Andong is so full of history and I’m sure that there is much more for us to uncover.

Had an absolute wonderful fall trip to Andong with my partner. Even though we had a bit of delay because of the traffic the tour didn't feel rushed and we've been able to explore everything the guide showed us. It was sometimes a bit hard to understand the guide, but he was so friendly and took the time to help us and explained things again if necessary. I can highly recommend the Tour during Fall Foliage, as the Hahoe Village and the Dosan Academy have been full with amazing red and yellow trees! Andong is such a traditional and cultural city, really want to visit again :)

Andong is such a traditional and cultural city, really want to visit again :)

Had an absolute wonderful fall trip to Andong with my partner. Even though we had a bit of delay because of the traffic the tour didn't feel rushed and we've been able to explore everything the guide showed us. Loved the day trip to Andong. The subsidised price was exceptionally good value for money. We had a good amount of time to explore the folk village and were given the option to watch the traditional mask show. Would definitely visit Andong again. There is an also a beautiful river beach there.

"I initially had doubts about joining this tour because the price was very cheap. I thought it might be a scam. However, I am grateful to have joined the Andong one-day trip from Seoul. Alvin is truly an excellent tour guide. He can speak English and Mandarin fluently. He may seem serious, but he's actually quite funny. He explained everything about Andong very well. Thank you, Trazy, for offering this trip to Andong. We couldn't have done it without Trazy. Thank you, Alvin. "Thank you, Andong city, for inviting us and subsidizing this Andong tour.

I joined the 2D1N tour from Seoul. Despite the rain, the tour was still amazing. Good value for money. The van and hotel were totally beyond my expectation. One of the best hotel I've ever stayed. The Hahoe village, the mask performance, and the seowon were beautiful. Thanks to this tour I met new friends from all around the world.

I must admit this is my second time on this tour. Last year I absolutely fell in love with Andong jjimdak and when I saw this tour is happening also this year, I had to take it. Its not just the jjimdak but also the salted mackerel we had for lunch was also absolutely delicious. So if you want to eat amazing authentic Korean food and also see a traditional village, this is the tour for you.

It was a really nice trip to do ! I was able to meet a friend during the day and we are still in contact right now ! We went to Andong and we were able to watch a masked performance like an old street theater and we were able to visit the hahoe village ! Hayley was a very nice guide and she knew a lot about the place ! she gave us so many advice about where to go what to do and what to eat ! It was a really nice day that I won’t forget 🥰

This was a great tour to Andong and definitely good value for money. There is a lot to do and see at Hahoe Village, from practicing calligraphy to watching a traditional play. Visiting Woryeonggyo Bridge was beautiful to see at sunset, and the nearby park had a really good atmosphere. We also had the opportunity to try traditional foods known to the area. Our tour guide, Hailey, was very kind and friendly. She told us a lot of interesting information about the places we visited, and stories about herself. The only down-side is that, as always, we never have enough time at each location. But this can't be helped because it's a one day tour. I would definitely recommend it and I would like to visit again!

This tour was really amazing. It was my first time to go to Andong and I was able to meet some amazing people on this trip. Firstly, our tour guide Johnny was brilliant and made sure that he got to know everyone on the tour. He was really enthusiastic about introducing foreigners to Korea as well as leading us to some great spots and photo ops. He took so many photos for all of us. I also want to acknowledge the driver who was always on time and ready and waiting for us at each location. The trip from Busan to Andong was so comfortable thanks to him. Saturday: We were able to enjoy a tour of the Andong Hahoe Village and experience a traditional Korean Mask dance. Korean Supporters studying tourism also joined the tour in the village which gave us the opportunity to learn a lot more about Andong from locals. We were able to enjoy some delicious mackerel for lunch recommended by the tour guide. We also went to Bongjeongsa Temple which was beautiful and then chose a free cake and a drink at a pretty cafe. We then shared some Korean Beef skewers at the local night market and took a trip to Wolyounggyo Bridge at night. The sights were amazing. Finally, we went to our hotel which was so comfortable and clean. Sunday: We went to the Andong Soju Museum and visited Wolyounggyo bridge again during the day time. For lunch we enjoyed traditional jjimdak in the jjimdak alley. We also went to the confucian school and visited the filming site of Korean Drama 'Mr. Sunshine' before making the trip back to Busan. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and the price was phenomenal for everything that we got to experience and the quality of the hotel we enjoyed. I definitely recommend anyone to give a tour a try with Trazy!

It's a 4-4 hour drive to get to Andong but it's so worth it! Hahoe village is so pretty and the mask performance is very enjoyable. Huge recommendation for anyone interested in a day trip.

It was unbelievably wonderful! Absolutely love the guide, Will, the driver, all the places we visited, the hotel we stayed in. And unexpected bonuses like drinks and food! If this tour would be available every weekend I would go on it every weekend

My 2D1N Andong tour from Busan was an awesome experience. Our journey started from Busan station with a group introduction over a hot cup of coffee at Starbucks. Our tour guide Dony and his assistants Jony and Jack ran us through the details of the tour. Our journey started in a cozy minibus with discussion about the history of Korea, the royal culture of various dynasties followed by lots of chitchat till we reached Andong. We had smoked salted Mackerel which is a traditional specialty of Andong for our lunch along with interesting side dishes and rice near the entrance of Andong Hahoe village. Walking through Andong Hahoe village was like time travel. I learnt so much about traditional Korean practices like Undol (traditional floor heating system in Korean houses), Stone mill used for making grain powder or Tofu, method used for drying cloths. This tiny village is surrounded by paddy rice fields, lotus ponds, tall mountains, lots of old trees and a beautiful river. Andong residents are staying in these traditional homes and maintaining this cultural heritage for the world to experience this historic city. The mask dance performance was entertaining and informative. Our next stop, Bongjeongsa temple, was a wonderful place to sit and spend some peaceful time. I came to know about the unique temple stay program here. We got a chance to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Andong night market. The Andong city officials welcome us with beautiful smiles and warm hearts. It was my first experience of open barbeque! Interesting food, drinks and lot of chitchat with our group members (now we call it “our Andong family”) made this experience unforgettable. We visited Woryeonggyo bridge which is the longest wooden bridge in Korea after dinner. Colorful moon boats floating in the lake and cozy cafes in surrounding area made the night view spectacular. We checked-in in a comfortable hotel in downtown Andong and the first day of the tour was over. Next day started with the pleasant good morning wishes from our tour guide team and we started our journey towards Dosanseowon Confucian Academy. Dony answered all our questions about Korean history and Confucian culture with witty stories. Story about Korean Surnames was my favorite! When you will meet Dony in your “Trazy tour” don’t forget to ask him about it!! Andong Soju museum is a place to know more about rich food culture in Korea. The exhibitions about the process of Soju making and various food platters served during different occasions like marriage, offerings to ancestors were interesting. For lunch we ate “Andong Jjimdak” (chicken with onions, potatoes, carrots, chilies and glass noodles in soy sauce) at Andong market. We bought some delicious desserts and cheese buns in the famous Mammoth bakery. Our last destination, Manhyujeong Pavilion, is the home to civil servant Kim Gye-haeng during the Joseon Dynasty. A perfect place to take a rest near a waterfall located in the countryside to forget the mundane world. We clicked a lot of pictures, heard interesting stories, ate delicious food, and made friends during this wonderful Andong tour. I will highly recommend this 2D1N Andong tour with Trazy to everyone to experience Korean culture. Your visit to South Korea is incomplete without this wonderful experience.
