Namdaemun Market is the largest traditional market with all the different kinds of goods including clothes, shoes, houseware, accessories, hats, glasses, food, flowers, tools, fine arts, carpets, flowers, electronic appliances, furniture, ginseng, etc. It covers over 10 acres and has more than 10,000 stores.
Opening hours vary depending on the different parts of the market. Wholesalers usually are open from 11pm to 3am and many retail stores operate from 7am to 5pm (Note that the stores will close at 2pm on Saturday).
