Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort, located in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, is one of the nearest ski resorts where you can reach within only 1 hour from Seoul. It's the only resort you can easily reach by subway! So, for those of you who want to take a short break and enjoy skiing not too far away from the city, this ski resort can be the best option.

Gangchon Elysian ski resort has 10 runs in total, 6 lifts and a gondola, and has relatively gentle slopes than other major ski resorts, offering all levels of skiers enjoyable skiing experience. Out of 10 ski runs, 8 of them are for beginners and intermediate skiers and 2 for advanced skiers.

Though this ski resort does not offer large-scale facilities and slopes like Yongpyong Ski Resort or Phoenix Park do, but it is a great place for beginners and first-time skiers to learn how to ski.
