With this templestay experience, you can rest your body and soul at the peaceful Geumsunsa Temple where over 600 years of history thrives.

Various programs are available for you to try such as Seon (zen) meditation, 108 prostrations, dado (tea ceremony), making lotus lanterns or prayer beads, cooking and trying traditional snacks and meals, and more. All meals provided are vegetarian and are made from ingredients gathered from nature.

[Geumsunsa]
Geumsunsa is a mountain temple located in Bukhansan National Park in the middle of Seoul City away from the cosmopolitan downtown area. With over 600 years of history, Geumsunsa is a beautiful temple with a story to tell. According to a legend, Ven. Nongsan of Geumsunsa Temple prayed in the Mokjeonggul cave near the temple for 300 days to ask for a prince for King Jeongjo. When Ven. Nongsan died, he was reincarnated as the king's son who became Sunjo, the 23rd king of Joseon Dynasty. Mokjeonggul cave is still visited by many to this day for this reason.
