*The opening date of Vivaldi Park Ski World for the 2016/17 Winter Season is November 25.
Vivaldi Park Ski World is one of the best ski resorts in Korea located in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province and is relatively close to Seoul among other major ski resorts in the area. It's known to be one of the most visited ski resorts in Korea and it takes just an hour and a half by drive from Seoul, which makes it a popular winter getaway.
Offering 12 different slopes and 10 lifts and a gondola, Vivaldi Park is ideal for upper-intermediate to advanced skiers. Also, the resort is particularly famous for snowboarding.
There are many more attractions to enjoy besides skiing at Vivaldi Park. The resort offers indoor screen golfing, bowling, noraebang (karaoke) and big sledding slope as well.
For those of you looking for low-cost ski holidays in Korea, Vivaldi Park's passes are relatively lower in cost than other resorts. It also runs free shuttle buses daily at 72 stations. The ski resort also offers the best midnight ski service, which makes it popular among university students and budget travelers.
Besides skiing experience, you can also enjoy hot springs at the Ocean World, which is one of the popular water parks in the country.
The resort was also featured in the drama starring Jun Ji-hyun and Lee Min-ho, "The Legend of the Blue Sea."

the slopes are good (its better to start with easier and then moves up after you gain your confidence) but honestly the process from buying ski lift pass, renting clothes, ski gear etc is quite troublesome and there's not much english to help foreigners. be prepared for that
