Dodubong is one of the many lower hills (oreum) on Jeju island formed by volcanic activity. The hill is located near the airport and close to Iho taewoo beach and is part of Olle route 17.
At Dodubong hill you can get to the top on two different trails. One of the trails is a straight climb from the coastal road behind the hill and the other is a longer but more even trail to the top that will lead you along public exercising equipment where you can spot some locals working out. Both trails are relatively easy to walk and it will only take about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the top depending on which trail you are picking as Dodubong hill is only 65 meters high. At the beginning of the trail that will lead you to the top along the working out equipment is a public small temple that is accessible to anyone and is worth paying a visit before climbing Dodubong hill.
At Dodubong peak you get a stunning view over Jeju city and especially the airport were you can constantly see planes landing and taking off. t. Moreover you get a gorgeous view of the sea at the peak of this hill. Apart from providing the visitor with a gorgeous view of Jeju city and the sea, one can also see mount Halla in the back behind the airpor

The view at Dodubong is breathtaking and the peak is easy to reach as the climb is very short and the trail offers a lot of gorgeous views on the way to the top for example of the harbour. At the top there is a large wooden platform that is ideal for having a picnic, just bring a blanket to sit on and your food and you can enjoy a relaxing picnic with a stunning view. Do take into consideration though that there is barely any shading if any at all at the peak thus bring a parasol or any other sun blocking measures during the sunnier days to prevent any sunburns.
Also for plane enthusiasts, the peak offers a great view of the airport and plenty of opportunities to photograph one of the many planes that land and take off from Jeju international airport.
