Volstead has just opened its doors and although it’s only been open a few short weeks, it’s quickly become the talk of the town among Mexican aficionados. The space is a mix between a cocktail bar and restaurant.

While the food is a bit bland compared to Tex-Mex, those who enjoy more traditional Mexican flavours will enjoy it. They have a great selection of cocktails and are open late. The jalapeno poppers were my favourite dish on the menu and I also enjoyed the Lynchburg Lemonade to drink.
