The facts

The total area is 20,337㎡, and it was opened on October 16, 1999. It was built to honor the spirit of the Korean democratic movement.

There are the main facilities, a 419-seat theater, a 120-seat theater, the computer room, reception area and etc on the ground floor. And the second floor has exhibition halls, seminar rooms, archives, office, lounge and etc. The third floor has a showroom, fodder conservation room, shops and the like.

The 419-seat theatre is used as international conferences, academic events, various lectures, presentations and etc. The 120-seat theater is used as a conference room, lecture facilities and a movie theater.

Outdoor venues are used by theater and music venues, weekend or holiday is used for a wedding sometimes. The Arboretum has about 400 kinds of trees are growing, and has some rest area with a variety of themes. There are Central Library, Independence Hall of Korea and more near there.

This place has a beautiful park, also cool buildings. I recommend you to see the park and museum slowly until to 2-3 hours.
