Songdo Central Park is located in the Songdo International Business District in Incheon. It was built in 2009 and it’s the first park in Korea to use water that is withdrawn from the sea. There are some things you can enjoy, so it’s a great place to spend some time with your family, friends or even yourself in the city. Also the night view of the park is great! You can feel nice breeze at night.
The park consists of 5 parts: Promenade, Sculpture garden, Mountain strolling garden, Long meadow and terrace garden. Each part has its own character.
There are some ways to let your hair down. Simply borrow a bicycle at the East boat house and feel refreshed during your cycling. Or you can ride the water-taxi(it’s more like a cruise ship) at West boat house in Promenade. The boat runs through the park every 30 minutes from 10am to 10pm.It makes you easier for you to enjoy the view of all the skyscrapers in just 20 minutes. Also you can participate in water activities in Terrace garden such as canoe, kayak, and boat. If you like arts and sculptures, you’d love Sculpture garden. In addition, there is a Rabbit Island and Deer garden in Mountain strolling garden.
