Mount Sanbang is located alongside Sanbanggulsa Temple offering a pictureque picture of the temple and the mountain as a backdrop. The hike up the mountain takes approximately 30 minutes depending on your stamina. There are also 2 convenience stores, 1 located at the foot of the mountain and another in one of the rest areas.
The 2nd convenience store double up as a souvenir store which sells a variety of merchandise including the iconic Jeju stone figurines.
Climbing the mountain, you can use telescope at the observatory of which price is 500won. (You have to put in 500won just one coin) If you use that telescope, you can see a shore which looks like dragon’s head.
The mountain’s admission fee is 1000won for an adult, 500won for a child each. The dragon head shore’s admission fee is 2000won for an adult, 1000won for a child each. For reference, from may to september, you can visit there from 8am to 6pm but other day, from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
